Latest News - ILA £200 funding available                                                All of our professional dog groomer training courses i.e. the 4, 5 and 6 week courses are now eligible for ILA funding for learners that live in Scotland, are 16 years or older and earn £22000 or less per year. This means that if you live in Scotland and book one of these courses you can get £200 off the price of the course.

Dog Groomer Training - Centre of Excellence Open - Our dog grooming training facility is purpose built to ensure all learners will have access to a wide range of equipment and experience the benefit of working in a highly professional dog grooming environment. These courses are in high demand.

The dog groomer training facility includes a modern dog grooming preparation and bathing suite with hydraulic baths and tables, a dog clipping and styling suite, a training room as well as the Managers office and coffee lounge and staff office. There are ample parking facilities and the centre is within a short walking distance from the central station. Training staff have the Advanced City and Guilds dog grooming diploma (with distinctions) and are professional dog groomers with an excellent reputation.


Your own Dog Grooming Business - In conjunction with INTEC Business Solutions we can now offer business planning and advice for those considering running their own dog grooming business at no extra cost. You decide which elements of running a business you need help with and we run sessions during your dog grooming training course if required. The sessions are typically 1 - 2 hours and can cover basic accounts for dog grooming, how to best market your business etc. These are optional elements and do not need to be taken.
